Gingko
In Gingko we work in communication and education, because we believe that communicating is a cognitive and social process inherent to the processes of education and learning. Education is opened, dynamic and collaborative, it is in constant movement and change. Learning is to construct knowledge, it is a creative action whose purpose is the individual, social and cultural development of our capacities. And it is infinite, as we never stop learning, above all when we teach. That’s why we undertake workshops and training courses where we work to create participation environments for personal and professional development.
Who we are
We are professionals of Communication and Education, specialized in audiovisual production. Our path together starts in 2003, with Producións Itinerantes and later on with Vacalume. At the same time, we have worked for other production & broadcasting companies. From 2013, we work focused on Communication and Education as Gingko.
Why Gingko?
Our name, Gingko, belongs to a tree that is considered a living fossil, which means that this species has existed for approximately 300 million years. It is a long-life tree, which can live through thousands of years.
And on August 6, 1945, when the nuclear bomb devastated Hiroshima, six gingkos managed to survive. For us, it is a symbol of memory, resilience and hope.
